Our Club Projects

Over the years, the club has very actively participated in Rotary's youth exchange, made major contributions to End Polio Now, participated in a major Rotary project in India, and participated in the renovation of 3 hospitals in Moldova. Currently, the club is engaged in four areas - two local and two international:

* Young Researchers
The club give scholarship to 2-4 high school students who have successfully participated in the Young Researchers exhibition organised by Chalmers and the Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Gothenburg. In the spring they come to the Club and hold seminars about their project and get a scholarship from the Club.

* Integration network
The Club has been participating for more than 10 years in daily integration activities at Hisingen in the non-profit association Integration network Gothenburg, as mentors, spokespeople, study circle leaders and advisors.

* Nakamtenga, Burkina Faso
Internationally, the club has been supporting the village of Nakamtenga in Burkina Faso for many years and has received several District Grants for this commitment, which made it possible to strengthen the effort. The projects there are run in collaboration with the Yennenga Progress Foundation, through which the club has full visibility into how the support arrives.

* End Polio Now
The Club has a commitment to and an annual support of End Polio Now. Click here and read more End Polio Now

If you want to support one of our projects, you can Swish your contribution to the Club on Swish 123 398 75 00 and write which project you want to give your contribution to.

The King's Gate was for several decades the main gate into the city. Nowadays, the people of Gothenburg know it more as a tram stop, but the King's Gate Bridge over the canal remains in all its glory.
